Our free coloring library provides instant downloads for creative coloring sessions at home or in school. Here is how to achieve the best results on home printers:
- Paper scaling: Most home printers have a default unprintable margin around page edges. When printing from Adobe Acrobat, your web browser, or preview software, choose “Fit to Printable Area” or “Scale to Fit” rather than “Actual Size” to avoid clipping outer decorative borders.
- Print quality settings: Set your printer quality setting to “Normal” or “High” rather than “Draft.” Selecting high print quality ensures crisp, dark outlines without dithering or faded sections.
- Paper choices: Standard 20 lb multipurpose copy paper works well for wax crayons and colored pencils. If your children or students use water-based markers, upgrading to 24 lb or 28 lb bright white paper prevents ink show-through. For heavy blending or adult coloring markers, 65 lb smooth cardstock provides an optimal, bleed-resistant surface.

- Selecting photos: Choose well-lit photos with distinct subjects and moderate contrast. High-resolution photos taken in natural daylight yield cleaner line art conversions than low-light or blurry shots.
- Turnaround time: To order a custom digital book, request a quote from custom coloring book via our contact form. You get a price and delivery date by email, pay via a secure payment link, and email us your photos. Each page is converted into line art and checked by a person, and the finished PDF is delivered by email only.
- Photo privacy: Photos you send for a custom book are used only to make it and deleted 30 days after delivery. For custom coloring posters and canvases, your browser turns your photo into line art and only that drawing is uploaded; uploads, previews, and print files are deleted automatically 30 days after upload, while Printful keeps the print file with your order.
Order management and customer service
Physical orders run through our automated print partner network. If you need assistance:
- Order changes: Orders are sent to Printful and confirmed for production automatically as soon as payment succeeds. If you need to change or cancel, email us right away with your order number. We can change or cancel only until Printful starts making it, which can be within a few hours; after that we can’t stop it.
- Shipping times: Physical items require 2 to 5 business days for fulfillment, followed by 3 to 8 business days for carrier transit within the contiguous United States.
- Returns and issues: If any physical item arrives damaged or defective, email us within 30 days at [email protected] with photos so we can dispatch a replacement.

How do I download and print the free coloring sheets?
Select any coloring sheet from our library and click the download button to save the high-resolution file. Open the file in your preferred PDF viewer or image software, select print, and choose your preferred paper scale. For best results, select Fit to printable area so borders do not get clipped by printer margins.
What kind of paper works best for home coloring?
Standard 20-pound copy paper works well for crayons and colored pencils. For gel pens, light ink markers, or heavier shading, 24 to 28-pound premium laser or inkjet paper prevents ink bleed-through. For alcohol markers, blending markers, or light watercolor washes, we recommend printing onto 65-pound cardstock for maximum durability.
Can I use these coloring pages in my school classroom?
Yes. Educators, librarians, Sunday school instructors, and community group leaders are welcome to print and distribute physical copies of our free coloring pages to students and program participants. Direct commercial resale or digital re-hosting of the original files on other websites is strictly prohibited under our license.
How does the custom photo coloring book process work?
Ask for a quote from the custom coloring book page, telling us how many photos (up to twenty) and the title you want. We reply by email with a price and delivery date. Once you accept and pay, you email us your photos; we turn each into a coloring page, a person checks every page, and we email you the finished PDF. Your photos are deleted 30 days after delivery.
How long does physical merchandise take to manufacture and ship?
Because physical merchandise is made to order by our printing partner, Printful, fulfillment typically takes 2 to 5 business days across standard product categories. Tracked shipping across the contiguous United States takes an additional 3 to 8 business days depending on your destination and carrier service.
What is your policy for damaged or defective items?
If your physical order arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, please contact our support team within 30 days of delivery. Send clear photographs of the damaged product along with your order number to our support email, and we will send a free replacement or issue a full refund.
